IT’S IMPORTANT THAT WE GIVE BACK TO OUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES. THAT’S WHY A PORTION OF ALL SALES IS DONATED TO SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING CHARITIES:
The KidSafe Project Society has provided nurturing safe havens for vulnerable inner-city children when schools are traditionally closed.
The KidSafe Project Society was launched by inner-city school principals, concerned citizens and The Vancouver Sun newspaper in 1993 in response to a brutal tragedy that left an 8 year old child brutally beaten, then abandoned in a vacant east side apartment. The community was outraged by the tragedy, then galvanized into action; They were united in their vision to provide vulnerable children with a safe place to go when school is out and now suport over 400 at risk children annually.

THE VANCOUVER SUN’S – ADOPT A SCHOOL
When kids come to school hungry, they can’t concentrate on their lessons. Breakfast programs funded by donations to Adopt a School help hundreds of children start the day with a nutritious meal.
The Children’s Fund isn’t about pointing fingers at parents falling painfully short of their responsibilities, or governments and organizations making unpopular choices in the face of rising demand and declining resources. This is about a child who, without our collective attention and intervention, might never achieve his or her best, might never have his or her eyes opened to the opportunities and wonders of the world. Together we can make a difference in a child’s life.
